During Science week two Professors of Genetics visited us from UCD and showed us how materials can react with each other, sometimes with explosive results! We were also visited by an ecologist from the Irish Peatland Conservation Council. She explained to us the importance of Irish bogland and we made a 'Bog in a Bottle' and met some of the creatures found in an Irish bog! We also had a STEM poster competition and took part in a Super Science Quiz in the hall and showed off all we had learned! Click through the gallery to see all the fun we had!

Lá na Cruite/Harp Day 2023
Lá na Cruite or Harp Day 2023 took place on Saturday 21st October. We celebrated our national instrument and emblem in school on Friday 20th of October. We are very lucky to have a harpist in 4th class in school. Róisin brought in her harp and performed for all classes and then local harpist Fiona Gryson came in and played for us! It was a great way to celebrate an iconic symbol of Ireland!
