Senior School Tour June 2012
An article by Róisín O'Connor - 3rd class
This year all of the pupils in the Senior School went to Lilliput House in Mullingar. We had to get up much earlier than usual to get there on time. When we got there we got into groups of 5 or 6 and the first thing our group did was archery. After that we went down to climb the rockclimbing wall and then we went into a cabin with 2 other leaders and we sang songs and they gave us all nicknames. Mine was Ro.
After the break we were put into new groups and told to give ourselves names. We called ourselves "The Lost". We went into a forest on an orienteering trail and my group got quite lost which matched our name quite well. After that when we eventually found our way back to base we went down a lane where I met Niall Horan's cousin!!! That was fairly exciting for me. Then a bunch of people that wanted to go bog jumping went down and messed around in the bog for about 10 minutes. It was freezing cold, wet and muddy. When we were finished we all jumped into the lake. After we got dried and cleaned up we went back on the bus and had our lunch. It was great yet mucky day out!!!
