Second Class received their First Holy Communion
​on Saturday, May 7th. Congratulations!

​Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class enjoyed a wonderful day out at Dublin Zoo! Some of the highlights were the African Plains, the Reptile House and of course playing together in the playground!

We were treated to hot chocolate today! We never complain about the windows and doors being open on these cold days!

Picker Pals

First & Second class are taking part in the Picker Pals environmental programme. Picker Pals develops children's awareness and community responsibility around the issue of litter. The programme involves children taking it in turns to bring home the Picker Pack. This contains all tools needed to do a short family litter-pick with a parent or other trusted adult. The idea is to pick up a few items of litter and engage in conversation around the issue of littering. We have a Picker Pals display on our Green Schools board and we are enjoying sharing our reports with our teacher and classmates.

Nature Trail

We went on a nature trail in our locality. We had so much fun looking for signs of Autumn. We created beautiful Autumn wreaths on our return to school.
