Cross Country Championships
Athboy, March 15th 2013

Our school Cross Country teams once again did us proud at another championships. The standard was very high and the weather didn't do us any favours changing constantly from driving rain to sunny outbursts. All of our children from 1st up to 6th class ran brilliantly. A special mention must go to two new stars Hannah Keogh and Sophie Quinn of 2nd class who did absolutely brilliantly finishing 6th and 5th respectively. Jennifer Warren once again delivered a top ten finish coming 9th and Callum Warren, not to be outdone by his big sister also flew home in the top ten, coming 9th also. All children put their very best in on a very tough course with a testing uphill section before the final straight. Well done to all!!!
